About Y2K
Y2K boasts a reputation as a highly successful agency providing talent with work throughout the industry.
Established in 2000 by Emily Lockett, it quickly built a reputation for excellence which now spans the UK and is constantly growing and expanding to keep up with the demands of an ever changing market and clientele.
By 2002 Y2K had expanded into Model Management.
In 2013 Y2K was acquired by successful business woman and TV personality Claire Daniels.
Bringing her experience and contacts to the table Y2K now offers all Media, including Television and Radio Presenters, Actors, Voice Over Artists and Extras for all terrestrial, satellite and online Adverts and Commercials.
Claire’s 20 year career began aged 11 as a child model working on many fashion campaigns as well as catwalk shows. Later she moved on to lucrative promotional work for established clients on many well-known products.
By the age of 19 following positive exposure from a national tabloid, Claire stepped into the world of glamour which led to a number of commercials as well as being chosen as the face of Trade Style UK. She continued to develop from strength to strength, landing roles as main presenter and host on many weekly and daily television shows which gained her viewers and fans from across the globe, and gave Claire an insightful understanding of the industry.
Utilising the contacts she has made over the years, Claire has also been involved with charity work - raising awareness of Crohns Disease through the national press and Television interviews, organising events including a Fashion Show at the well known celebrity nightclub 'Browns' - which received national press and television coverage.
